Women from oppressed communities have relatively few employment options. Traditionally, they carry out low-paid, strenuous and unreliable manual work, which often leaves them open to exploitation by unethical employers.
The ability to use a computer can make the difference between securing a better-paid and more secure job. Our free IT courses teach local young people and women how to operate a computer and use essential tools like Microsoft Office. Each two-week programme is taught by overseas volunteers. On graduating, students receive a certificate and the have the opportunity to practice their skills using our IT facilities.
